All of this, combined with mysterious voices coming from the vents, hint at a wider story involving Dr Pam Preston, the disembodied voice who acts as your guide throughout proceedings. You play a rookie surgeon, drafted in to work in a hospital that is seemingly still under construction – boxes and cans litter the hallways, doors are barricaded and the ID cards of unseen members of staff are carelessly strewn around the place. You might also know them from the strange ”I Am Bread” game from 2015. The game is being developed and published by Bossa Studios, also responsible for the first iteration of Surgeon Simulator, which was fairly popular among streamers. Surgeon Simulator 2: Access All Areas is coming to Xbox consoles and Xbox Game Pass on September 2nd. Another launch title for Xbox Game Pass this summer.
